We became friends as engineers at General Motors, long before either of us pictured running our own companies.
When motherhood pulled us toward more presence with our families, we both walked away from the corporate track and each built something of our own from scratch - Laura as a yoga teacher with a gift for brand and story, Michelle as a pediatric sleep consultant who fell hard for the systems behind the scenes.
